The Story
The way to my heart could easily be traced out from the stomach.
It was on the last day of the Nairobi Restaurant Week as I had the last scoop of my delectable dessert that my palate declared its wish to have these dine outs on a monthly basis. Typing this out is my dauntless attempt to put an end to my procrastination, which sadly deprived me off the pleasure to share my experiences in the food world.
Imagine yourself sipping up your favorite drink at a newly discovered joint. You love the ambiance, the service rendered isn’t too shabby either yet a nagging thought about how well your steak would be seasoned or if it would be sufficiently juicy detracts from this potential nirvana. Will the music playing dance well with the food I am eagerly awaiting down the tummy or will it pair as awfully as Bobby and Whitney?
These are questions revealing the desire of Kenyan masses to eat out but the what ifs just won’t allow for the indulgence.
Fret not, as your honorary explorer; it will be an absolute delight to let you in on all things sapid and affordable. Pack your appetite (and come on through??) so the next time you are hit with the all too familiar, “Where should we eat tonight?” a light bulb will automatically go on.
