Get Ready for A Taste of Heaven

Hello Beautiful Souls,

The Emerald Gardens Thai Restaurant has recently been on most of the bloggers' lips as a MUST try, promising an awesome Pan-Asian experience (New concept). Exploration time... I first experienced this restaurant on a lunch date with Ms. Mandi (Throwdown lover alert) and I must say, it was love at first bite (sight for #landscapehunters). This time round, I decided to try it out for dinner.

The restaurant is a relaxing garden square, located in Gigiri, with an indoor and semi indoor seating which highlights the al fresco touch. The ambiance is breathtaking with a touch of Thai.

I was juiced to try out their Hot Pot Menu which is an interesting concept where the diners get to prepare their own meal (How awesome is that!). An assured interactive experience with your partner or group of foodies. I was however disappointed to learn that one required to make prior arrangements with the restaurant in order for them to prepare the Hot Pot table…more reason to come back? We therefore decided to order from both the old and new menu.

Lemon Prawns

My taste buds were aching for some seafood, I ordered for the Lemon Prawns which were shouting “try me”. My partner ordered for some Bangkok Basil Chicken Wings as his starter.

The zesty flavor in the prawns left me yearning for more (can’t I just have two servings and forfeit my main course). The chicken wings were yummy though I had to appease my chili addiction by adding some.

The night wouldn’t be complete without me trying out, for the main meal, their sweet and sour pork accompanied by fried rice with eggs and cashew nuts (Nuts make my world go round).

Main Course

This combination was finger licking great with a glass of the classic old Manhattan cocktail to wash down the palate.

I definitely enjoyed my dinner and will be back to try out the Hot Pot Menu.
